The Madrid Science Park (PCM) is a non profit foundation created in 2001 by the Universities Autónoma de Madrid and Complutense de Madrid, to support research, development and innovation, with the mission of consolidating a new knowledge based industry. The PCM offers business incubation/ acceleration to innovative companies and also provides scientific services to the research community, hospitals, businesses and public or private laboratories.
The PCM is home to more than a hundred innovative companies in the areas of life sciences, chemistry, nanotechnology, new materials, engineering, environment, renewable energy, information and communication technology, among other sectors. The business incubator is open 24/7 and the premises include furniture, internet, electricity supply, cleaning services. The science park shares its geographic location with some of the most important national R&D Centers in different knowledge areas such as Nanotechnology, Food Technology, Biotechnology and New Materials.
The services provided to tenants include financial, legal and tax advisory, searching for public and private financing, human resources support, events organization, press release preparation, technology transfer services, brokerage representation in national and international meetings, intellectual property consultancy, mentorship and access to several soft-landing programs to support business internationalization to many cities/ countries around the world.
