OBJECTIVES:

1. To get to know the German innovation ecosystem and its main agents.
2. To introduce these German innovation agents to the Spanish science and technology parks as entities to develop collaborations and locate German companies interested in expanding internationally.
3. To fulfil the objective set out in the APTE’s Annual Management Plan to organise a foresight mission in 2024.

During the mission to Germany, several opportunities for collaboration between Spanish science and technology parks and German entities were identified. These included the organisation of B2B meetings and webinars between startups and companies from both countries, as well as startup exchange programmes to promote mutual knowledge and internationalisation.

In addition, it was proposed to develop collaborative research projects with DESY, benefiting from specific programmes for inventions and technological developments. These initiatives seek to foster synergies and effective collaborations between the innovation ecosystems of Spain and Germany.
