TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER ENCOUNTER FOR INNOVATION BETWEEN INDRA AND UC3M AND ITS COMPANIES

Indra's market leaders are aware of the scientific and technological capacities of twenty-two research groups from the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) and several companies of its Business Nursery, with the objective of developing new cooperative projects to support the innovation processes of Indra. The meeting was organized by the UC3M Science Park with the aim of promoting technology transfer between both organizations. 

  

On Tuesday, May 9, 2017, the Science Park of the Carlos III University of Madrid organized a technology transfer meeting between UC3M and INDRA Ventures, with the objective of identifying possible collaborations with UC3M research groups, startups and spinoffs Knowing the scientific and technological capacities of UC3M research groups in areas of interest to the company such as artificial intelligence, big data, Internet of Things, drones, photonics, as well as technologies in the field of security and defense. 

  

The event was inaugurated by Javier Prieto, Vice-Rector of Scientific Policy at UC3M, and David Pascual, head of Indra Ventures, the vehicle that strengthens Indra's relationship with the innovative ecosystem. It was attended by several people from Indra's various markets, such as ATM, Transport, Energy, Security, Defense and Telecommunications, among others, as well as Minsait, the Indra unit that responds to the challenges of digital transformation. 

  

The Indra-UC3M meeting was attended by David Pascual, head of Indraventures, the vehicle that strengthens Indra's relationship with the innovative ecosystem, as well as a dozen people in charge of different company markets such as ATM, Transportation, Energy, Security, Defense or Telecommunications, among others. Minsait also participated, the unit of Indra that responds to the challenges of digital transformation. 

  

On the part of the University participated twenty-two Research Groups of the UC3M and several companies adhered to the program of creation and consolidation of companies of the Nursery of Companies of the Scientific Park UC3M. 

  

The objective of this day was to learn about Indra's different lines of activity, to identify possible collaborations with research groups, startups and spinoffs of UC3M and to identify disruptive technologies in areas of interest to the company such as artificial intelligence, big data, Internet of Things, drones, photonics and security and defense technologies.
