NEW CALL FOR CROWDFUNDING FOR SOCIAL PROJECTS

-Gijón Science and Technology Park.- 

Until 14 June Impulsa, managing entity of the Science and Technology Park of Gijón, allocates 16,000 euros to social innovation projects through #ImpulsaCrowdfunding. 

The call for projects was opened on 15 May for the 8 best proposals, which will receive one with funding of up to € 2,000 per project. 

Following the successful crowdfunding program last year with Verkami, this 2017, Impulsa resumes activity and returns to the service of citizenship € 16,000. 

The program kicked off yesterday and will be until June 14 the period in which entrepreneurs or companies in the municipality of Gijón, can send their projects to the platform www.lanzanos.com/impulsacrowdfunding. 

In order to sensitize the community of Gijón in the concept of crowdfunding, on May 23 a free workshop was held and open to anyone interested in alternative financing / collaborative economy. 

The May workshop program, which took place at the CRISTASA Building, located at Avda. Argentina, 132 from 16:00 to 20:00. 

• Training in new sources of funding and in designing projects to raise funds through microfinance. 

• Presentation of the call: conditions, main inducements and projects to which it is addressed. 

• Introduction to crowdfunding: bases and performance 

• Keys to the success of a collective financing campaign. 

For the training session on new sources of funding and design of projects for raising funds through microfinance, we will have Carmen Moreno, Communication Officer at Lanzanos. 

The projects will be co-financed by Impulsa of € 2,000 maximum, establishing a maximum of € 200 for patron's contribution. 

This year, Lánzanos, the first crowdfunding platform in Spain, will be responsible for managing and offering training and assistance to entrepreneurs, who will be in charge of hosting and advising the projects chosen from the proposals received.
