The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) this morning at Orbital 40, Science and Technology Park of Terrassa, the annual statistics of the Association, during the celebration of the General Assembly.

Under the slogan Economics and sustainability: the model of science and technology parks, on 17, 18 and 19 have been met in the Technology Park of Álava 200 representatives of parks.

The strategy includes the EU recognizes Iberian parks as intermediate bodies for the management of EU funds and otherwise strengthen partnerships with American parks so as to promote the internationalization of companies.

30 Spanish representatives have attended the twenty-ninth World Conference on Science and Technology Parks of IASP (International Association of Science and Technology Parks), held in Estonia.

In 2011 the Science and Technology Parks of Spain grew over 8% in the amount of companies and turnover and 6% in employment.

The General Secreatry of Science and Innovation, Juan Tomás Hernani, and APTE's President, Felipe Romera, presented the awards yesterday, during the celebration of the 5th Iberic Meeting of Science and Technology Parks.
